Because I'm curious (and I want to back up a claim I made during a squabble with Sass) what are peoples' opinions of in-character death?

Myself, I don't mind a character dying as long as it's a good death, which I define as one I would happily recount to other role-players.

A *really* good death is one I'd recount to the normals :-)

This is not to say that Cold Blow Carnage may feature an unusually high percentage of character death. Oh no, I'd never suggest that. Ahem...

Surely the fun point of in Character Death is for you to try and kill/maim/abuse as many people as poss and for us to run screaming trying really, really hard not to die......again.
this way everyone has a story.. even if it is about how u got eatten alive after trippeing over your own (possibly drunken) feet. :)

Having died a few times (once on stage with a band....) the only way to go is covered in glory or a complete lack of shame;)

Death should be a recountable event and if you can infect, maim, damage, kill others then it should all be for the good!

Sass after all killed her boyfriend whilst trying to save everyone from zombies last year.

I think I want to die is the strangest, most convoluted way possible ... with a smile on my face.
