After spending a weekend surrounded by the organisers of Zombie Cons make-up and special effects at the rather aptly named Zombie Fest, it's difficult not to get excited about their new venture. Surprisingly some places are still available for what promises to be a fantastic event so I thought I'd make you all aware that this rather groovy Convention was taking place.
A Weekend of Blood Filled Madness! Demonstrations, workshops, zombie choreography lessons, talks, short films with director talks, masquerade, zombie make up room, and two discos. Also, fun, silly & potentially life-threatening games to be played such as ‘Mall Mania’, ‘BrainStomping’, and ’Whack-A-Corpse!’ and even some serious medical talks about nasty ways to die.
and some amazing special guests including uber-make-up artist Stuart Conran (Brain dead, Shaun of the Dead) and funniest author in the world Robert Rankin (The Witches of Chisick, The Brightonomicon). Check it out at www.zombiecon.co.uk [
